This is a post about a possible licensing opportunity. Back in 2009 my old band Storey released a superb single called ‘Pull No Punches’ taken from our ‘Streets Will Fold’ album released that same year. Strong lyrics, a hooky chorus with a cool music video – it was soon remixed by UK Dance producer ‘Dirty Empre’ as well.

Fast forward to 2018 and on the advice of an industry friend and contact we’re now considering searching for an artist, label or publisher to synchronise, license or re-release this extremely catchy and powerful song. As well as the original Storey single video, I’ve included the 2009 Dirty Empire remix and top of the list, a Tropical House remix I’ve recently produced with my long-term collaborator Jack Hardman below. These range of styles really highlight the versatility of the song, and my dear friend Joe Macklin’s wonderful lyrics.
